Biography

Ariel is a writer and Director hailing from Melbourne Australia. His second year of film school saw his short 'Young Love' premiered at Sundance where it was awarded. The next year his graduation film 'Deeper Than Yesterday' premiered at Cannes where it took the Kodak Discovery Award. In 2015 his first feature 'Partisan' starred Vincent Cassell and told the story of child assassins. Most recently he has been collaborating with Jane Campion on the second series of the award winning 'Top Of The Lake' for the BBC. Ariel can be found splitting his time between LA and London.
