Michael Lawrence is a director and photographer with work stemming from a diversity of traveled interests, inspirations, and life experiences.

In advertising Lawrence has directed and photographed campaigns for some of the world's leading brands - Nike, Reebok, Chevrolet, Powerade, ESPN, Google, Toyota, Unilever, Citibank - with some of the world's best agencies - Wieden & Kennedy, Venables Bell, Sid Lee, BBH, AKQA, Ogilvy - while always attempting to make time for the obscure and interesting.

Michael’s films have garnered acclaim with a film shortlist at Cannes, New Director of the Year nomination at Shots, two golds at ADCC, and multiple awards at the Bessies. His images have been featured in The Atlantic, The NYTimes Magazine, Creativity, Communication Arts, Adweek, Fader, VICE, Pitchfork, and Indie Magazine.
