Jakub Jirásek

After a childhood spent in Switzerland and an adolescence driven by touring with bands, Jakub Jirásek is currently finishing his master degree in Directing at the Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. In his work, Jakub focuses on a cinematic storytelling with strong characters and a smart humour. In 2016, he debuted with spots for Svetozor cinema which were ranked as the 2nd best Czech commercial campaign of the year by Mediar.cz. As an active musician he also has a deep passion for music videos and creating audiovisual worlds that speak for themselves.
