Nadia Marquard Otzen

Biography
Nadia’s career started with a bang when her debut film  ‘Black Summer’ opened at Cph:Dox film festival with a live band. Her passion for entwining music and film ensured a natural move into music videos, directing videos for artists like The 1975, Naughty boy, Emile Sande, Rae Morris and Years and Years; earning her a variety of awards and nominations including MVA best new director and Grammy’s best video.
Her many commercial projects including Levi’s, Ikea, Velux, Hudson’s bay continued to build on her love for human stories, marrying the fictional with real places and real people. Unsurprisingly Campaign named her among ten female director’s to watch. Marrying the stark realism of authentic cast and captured moments with a bold look and pertinent soundtrack has become somewhat of a signature; as has her playful fascination with the awkward abandon of spontaneous dance.
