German-born David Fischer studied photography at the School of Visual Arts in New York after winning the SVA Outstanding Talent scholarship. During an internship under Ingrid Sichy at Andy Warhol’s Interview Magazine, he met photographers Bruce Weber and Steven Klein, both of whom he would later on work for as photo assistant. Since the early 2000s David has been based in Berlin to pursue his own career as a photographer. He works regularly for international publications and clients such as L’Uomo Vogue, V Magazine, Interview Magazine, Intersection, H&M, Axe, Hugo Boss, Coca Cola, and Mercedes Benz to name a few. Davids work could be best described as character based. He creates sensible and lively imagery that have the subject's personality in the focus. That special authenticity in all his work is his magic recipe.
