Stella Corradi is a BAFTA nominated and BAFTA Breakthrough Brit 2019. Most recently she directed the 90 minute standalone drama, Sitting in Limbo, for Leftbank Pictures and BBC One which focused on the Windrush Scandal. She has also directed 3 episodes of Trigonometry, Duncan Macmillan’s show for BBC One, and a standalone drama for Channel 4, Through the Gates, which was BAFTA nominated for Best Single Drama in 2019. As a director’s assistant, she worked on several features with her mentor, Sally Potter, and Justin Kurzel. Her debut short ‘Little Soldier’ was backed by Film London and starred Zawe Ashton and shot by Robbie Ryan. Stella won Best Female Director at LSSF alongside getting a special mention at Underwire Film Festival for Best Screenplay for Little Soldier.
