Inspired by some of cinema’s greatest, Maca fuses narrative, lighting, styling and camera language to capture an audience’s imagination. Maca’s work is doused in hyperrealism. She leads us to explore alternate ways of being through strong casting and location choices. Always relatable and at the forefront of relevance, Maca’s versatility as a director spans commercials, music videos, short films, and photography, all across diverse genres. Whilst experimenting with theatre, art and photography in her teens, Maca became native to the beauty and frustration of creativity. She now harnesses its power to tell stories with heart.
