Hana Knizova is a Czech-born photographic artist working currently out of Prague and London. She studied at the London College of Communication and graduated with a masters degree in photography. Her work focuses on interpersonal relationships and often takes the form of an intimate, conceptual portrait series, following family members, community members, and lovers over an extended period of time. She’s also interested in how socio-economic factors impact the ambitions of young people and how they shape their future prospects. Hana’s ability to connect with her subjects allows her visual language to explore themes of identity, personal aspirations, and psychological depths, all conveyed through a natural and intimate aesthetic.
Her work is regularly exhibited and has led to international awards. Her commissioned work includes clients such as Alexander McQueen, Adidas, Dazed & Confused, Forbes, Heineken, National Portrait Gallery, Stella McCartney, V Man, Vogue L’Uomo and many more.
